I'll post instructions once I'm able to reliably reproduce the results. I'm thinking Mars would certainly be possible, even as just a retexture of the China Distant Terrain. And I hope the delay in fixing it means they're adding new features. I'm going into CAW withdrawal too, I think. Can you post instructions on how you did it? This will remove one of them and I am definately interested in this. This is amazing! I really want to create an alien world (Mars or something.) or even a spaceship but there are a lot of restrictions on those ideas. This is actually why I've been experimenting with custom distant terrain, so I could make my own City terrain for in the distance (with skyscrapers going off into the horizon). has an actual City world been made yet? Because I've been dying to play in a City world. I also did a test where I actually ADDED my custom object right into the FullBuild Package (scary!) but even then CAW wouldn't pick it up.Īnd totally unrelated, but it's so I don't have to start a new thread. Then in "Edit in Game" mode make a lot and place his Distant terrain object there.īut to be honest, the whole "official" Mods folder with the new patch has me secretly hoping CUSTOM CONTENT will be enabled for CAW as well. With the right editing, one could make customized distant terrain, line it up correctly before importing.
